Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
Upperfloor attaches the highest importance to providing equal and accessible service to all users, including people with disabilities, and works to make its website accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines — at Level AA, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines subject to the adaptations made in the Israeli standard.
Accessibility features on this site
The site was designed and built so that accessibility is embedded in the code and content themselves:
- Full keyboard operation — all navigation, menus (including the mega-menus and the mobile menu), links and forms can be operated entirely with a keyboard: Tab and Shift+Tab to move between components, Enter to select, Esc to close menus, and the arrow keys — with a clearly visible focus indicator and correct focus management in opening menus.
- Screen-reader support — sound semantic structure: a single main heading per page, a consistent heading hierarchy, defined landmark regions, text alternatives for content images, and labels for all form fields.
- Skip to content link at the top of every page.
- The contact form includes clear error messages and status announcements for screen readers (aria-live).
- Color contrast — the site's color scheme was tuned to meet the contrast ratios required at Level AA.
- Reduced-motion support — users who set a reduced-motion preference in their operating system receive the site without animations.
- Language and direction — correct language and direction settings (Hebrew/RTL, English/LTR) on every page, for full assistive-technology support.
- Compatibility — the site is built with standard web technologies and supported in the current versions of the common modern browsers; for the best screen-reader experience we recommend NVDA.
The site was tested with automated tools (axe) across all of its pages with no A/AA-level accessibility findings, as well as in a manual keyboard and screen-reader audit conducted on ⟨NVDA audit date — to be completed⟩.
In addition to the accessibility embedded in the code, the site includes an accessibility menu (opened from the floating button at the edge of the screen) for personal adjustment: text size (up to 150%), text spacing, high contrast, grayscale, link and heading highlighting, stopping animations, a larger cursor and a reading guide. Preferences persist between visits, and the site continues to work fully with the settings and assistive technologies of your operating system and browser (font enlargement, contrast, screen reader and more).
Known limitations
We work to make all of the site's pages and content accessible. Nevertheless, components or content may be found that have not yet been made fully accessible, or whose accessibility was affected by content and technology updates. We will address any report on the matter as quickly as possible.
