Motorace Israel sells driving-experience tourism, a product that, in the words of CEO Shoval, is "very sexy" and pulls in a flood of inquiries, most of them not relevant because of the high price point. The challenge was never the number of leads. It was managing them: separating the serious from the curious, and getting to the close without drowning.
Before Upperfloor, Motorace had already tried a previous automated tool and trained it for a sales role, but as the volume of information grew, crossed-up data hurt its performance and demanded a lot of energy from the team. (This is Motorace's specific experience, not a general statement about the category.) The move from a reactive tool to a managed system started with a single inquiry: the first conversation with Upperfloor's agent on WhatsApp sold itself. In Shoval's words, "the conversation flow, the human touch, the data retrieval and the way it advanced the process". They knew immediately this was what they needed.
Today one agent, Moti, runs the sales track at Motorace. The agent takes the lead from the moment it enters the system all the way to checkout, and according to Shoval, "the amount of operational energy required from us dropped remarkably". The result: dozens of premium deals a month, closed end to end.
This is the autonomous edge of the managed system: 10-20% of deals close autonomously, end to end. 80-90% reach a rep ready to close. Motorace shows what happens when you stop chasing the flood of inquiries, and start managing it.
If you have enough inquiries but not enough control.
